Ron is a Managing Director for Paladin Asset Preservation and Management and brings over 20 years of real estate and finance experience to the Paladin team. Ron provides objective and efficient leadership and management in the capacity of a Receiver or third party fiduciary, for large, complicated portfolios of distressed real estate and invested capital. Prior to joining Paladin, he was Vice President of Asset and Portfolio Management at Land Interests, Inc. (LII), where he lead a team that managed and evaluated distressed assets from an operational and financial perspective and provided alternative strategies to clients that preserved and optimized the value of the assets.

Prior to joining LII Ron was the Vice President of Urban Development for John Laing Urban. While at John Laing, Ron focused the majority of his efforts on infill high density housing. His responsibilities included over sight of due diligence, entitlements, development and construction of podium and high density attached product. Before John Laing Urban, Ron worked at Regis Contractors which is an affiliate of the Sares-Regis Group. While there he was the Vice President of Construction/Senior Project Manager for Regis Homes and was responsible for the construction of a variety of real estate projects including several hotels and the conversion of 800 apartments to for sale condominiums. Prior to joining the Sares-Regis Group, Ron spent several years as a Commercial Loan Officer with Wells Fargo where he obtained his in-depth understanding of the banking side of real estate and was responsible for sourcing and underwriting credit facilities for the bank’s business customers.

Ron is a graduate of California State University Fullerton and holds a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Real Estate Finance. He is a member of BIA/OC, 50+ Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute.
