Orion Corcilius / Senior Manager

With over 15 years of experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry, Orion has extensive experience and expertise within this industry, including: hospitality & resort concept & design, development, capitalization, and operations. As the Principal and founder of Orion Hospitality Corporation, a consulting firm which provides proprietary analytics as well as third party management within the hospitality marketplace, Orion provides the Paladin team with a combination of expertise and experience rare to this industry.

Over the course of Orion’s distinguished career, Orion has opened and operated numerous hotels, totaling in excess of 3,500 hotel rooms, from conceptual design through development and on-going operations. Orion’s experience has provided a unique foundation in both hospitality operations and finance, critical to the broad understanding and objectivity required in third part fiduciary assignments. In addition, Orion’s knowledge and experience regarding hospitality capital acquisition and placement provides the fundamental combination of expertise and experience which uniquely qualifies Orion to be part of the Paladin team. He has participated with numerous capital efforts ranging $20M - $500M+ mixed-use resort development projects, hospitality sector market studies, competitive and positioning studies and due-diligence assignments. Additionally he has created the financial, cash flow and capitalization models for over 30 projects in various industry sectors, including retail, office, mixed-use, resort, apartment and residential, ranging in size from $1M - $585M and provided the analytical and visual conduit between the owner, developer, investors and capital markets.

Orion is a graduate of Cornell University Hotel School, where he concentrated in Strategic Management, Operations and Entrepreneurship. Orion has been awarded all three Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, an international award presented for progressive leadership.
